Global Warming

Global warming or global warming is a process of increasing global temperatures caused by greenhouse effect. What is the greenhouse effect? The greenhouse effect is the effect produced greenhouse-gas Gass who hold the sun in order to remain in the earth and did not undergo radiation into space. The greenhouse effect is very useful for life on earth because if there is no effect, the temperature of the earth will be very cold.Trees can helpprevent Global Warming.
What are some which include greenhouse gases such? Greenhouse gas most influential is carbon dioxide, methane, and dinitro oxide. While the greenhouse gases that many others are not too influential.
The greenhouse effect occurs naturally in nature. But if the amount of greenhouse gases is beyond normal limits, then the increase in global temperatures will also increase. This is called by scientists with the Global Warming or global warming. Earth's temperature increases due to the heat received by the Earth can not be radiated back into space. Because the Earth is getting warmer temperatures, climate change or the so-called Climate Change.
Greenhouse gases that cause global warming is produced by burning fossil fuels that are used in a variety aktivita human life such as industry and transportation. If the increase in temperature of the Earth is left, then all the ice that is on this Earth will melt and consequently the sea level will rise. This is very dangerous because it can cause changes in the face of the earth's land.
To tackle global warming, greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced or eliminated. For that, need to look for alternative fuels are environmentally friendly and emit no greenhouse gases.

Tips for Reducing Global Warming
Actually we do not require radical changes to help the earth became more friendly. Change some routines that can reduce the "carbon footprint" you. That will ultimately save you money too. But most important is we give our children a better place to live.
Here are simple tips but very useful if we do it routinely. Tips to reduce the global warming is already divided into several categories that can enable you to remember it into practice.
Food and Beverage Sector

1. Reduce consumption of meat, vegetarian is the best! Based on research, to produce 1 kg of meat, the resources spent on the equivalent of 15 kg of wheat. Imagine how we can save the earth from food shortages if we are vegetarian. Livestock is also contributing 18% "carbon footprint" of the world, which is greater than the transportation sector (cars, motorcycles, aircraft, etc.). Not compounded with the dangers of greenhouse gases generated by additional aktiitas other livestock such as methane, that in fact 3 times more dangerous than CO2 and NO gas is 300 times more harmful than CO2. And certainly many health and spiritual benefits of the vegetarian. You will become more healthy and loving.

2. Eat and cook the ingredients are still fresh. Avoiding foods that are processed or packaged will reduce the energy wasted due to process and transport repetitive. Fresh food is also healthier for our bodies.

3. Buy local products, local agricultural produce is very cheap and also very save energy, especially if we calculate the energy and transportation costs. Organic food is more environmentally friendly, but check also the origin. If imported from other regions, possibly resulting carbon emissions would outweigh the benefits.

4. Recycled aluminum, plastic, and paper. It would be better if you can use it repeatedly. The energy to make aluminum cans equal one with energy to power a TV for 3 hours.

5. Buy in large packs. It would be much cheaper, it also saves resources for packaging. If too much, take a friend or your brother to share the moment to buy.

6. Turn off your oven a few minutes before his time. If the remains are left closed, then the heat is not lost.

7. Avoid fast food. Fast food is the largest waste producer in the world. In addition, consumption of fast food is also bad for your health.

8. Bring a bag that can be reused. Bring your own shopping bags, that way you reduce the amount of plastic bags / crackle required. In recent years several large shopping centers in Indonesia have started to educate their customers to use a system like this. So welcome their good faith to save the environment.

9. Use washable cups. If you are familiar with the modern way that always serves drinks for guests with bottled water or coffee. Switch to our old ways. By using glass, ceramic, or plastic food grade we can wash and reuse.

10. Shop in your neighborhood. Will greatly save transportation costs and your fuel.

11. Planting trees every chance. Whether on the environment or by participating in tree planting programs. Can by donating seeds, funds, and others. Depending on the opportunity and ability of each of you.

At Home

1. Lower the temperature of your air conditioner. Avoid the use of maximum temperature. Use air conditioning in the levels until we feel comfortable enough alone. And prevent leakage of your air-conditioned room. Do not leave any gap that opens when you are using your air conditioner because it will make the AC work harder to cool your room. Ultimately this will save on your electric bill.

2. Use a timer to avoid forgetting to turn off the AC. Use a timer according to your habits. For example, your office hours are 8:00 pm until 17:00. Set your air conditioner timer in accordance with office hours. That way there are no more incidents forgot to turn off the AC until the next day.

3. Use solar water heaters. Although more expensive, in the long run this will save on your electric bill. (Even now existing street lights with solar power).

4. Turn off unused lights and do not leave water dripping. In addition to saving energy and clean water, this will save a lot of your bills.

5. Use compact fluorescent lighting. Although more expensive, they average 8 times more powerful and more efficient up to 80% of normal incandescent lamps.

6. Get the most of natural lighting. Use bright colors on walls, use glass tile on the ceiling, maximize light through a window.

7. Avoid stand-by position on your electronics! If all our household appliances off (not in a position to stand by) then we will reduce CO2 emissions from energy savings extraordinary power. Use the lamp socket is the on-off it. Or unplug the power cord from the electrical source.

8. When recharging your battery is full, immediately unplug! Mobile phones, electric shaver, electric toothbrush, camera, and others. If you've filled immediately pull.

9. Reduce time in opening your refrigerator. For every minute you open the refrigerator door. It will take 3 minutes full of energy to return the refrigerator temperature to the desired temperature.

10. Do not buy cut flowers. If your area is not producing ornamental flowers, the flowers can be sure it was sent from somewhere else. This will generate "carbon footprint" is large.

11. Cut food in smaller sizes. The size of the smaller pieces will use less energy to cook.

12. Use cold water to wash and wash them in large quantities. If you have a small family, it is not necessary every day to wash. Gather up your washing machine capacity are met, this will save water, reduce electricity consumption and also reduce pollution from your detergent.
